  How
depo-subQ provera 104 Works

Stops monthly ovulation
The hormone in depo-subQ provera 104 stops your ovaries from releasing eggs. So there are no eggs for sperm to fertilize

Your body builds tissue that lines the inside of your uterus
Your body sheds this lining every month during your period
Over time, with depo-subQ provera 104, your uterus may not even grow a lining. Or it may be very thin

Protects you from pregnancy as soon as you get your shot

As long as you get your first shot within the first 5 days of your period, depo-subQ provera 104 protects you from pregnancy for a full 3 months. Make sure you schedule early to get your next shot on time within 12 to 14 weeks.

Get your refills on time
